La première mise à jour majeure de 2022 pour Automobilista 2 a été publiée et comprend du nouveau contenu ainsi que par exemple des effets de vue de cockpit amélioré, des mises à jour de la physiques et des dizaines d’autres modifications et correctifs.
En termes de contenu, Reiza a élargi les Formula USA d’Automobilista 2, qui font partie du DLC Racing USA DLC Pt 2. Reiza a ajouté une classe Gen3 comprenant les monoplaces Reynard 2Ki et Lola B2K/00. Les fans de F1 historiques apprécieront également de nouveaux contenus, car AMS2 a désormais une classe Formula Retro Gen3 comprenant la McLaren MP4-1C, la F-Retro Gen3 Turbo et la F-Retro Gen3 DFY Aspirated. Enfin, les Volkswagen du titre ont été mises à jour avec l’ajout des VW Polo GTS et Virtus GTS à la classe TSI Cup.
Mais la plus grande nouvelle sur le front du contenu est l’ajout de Road America au pack Racin ‘USA DLC Pt 2. Situé à Elkhart Lake, dans le Wisconsin, les 14 virages et les 4 miles de Road America sont restés pratiquement inchangés au cours des 60 dernières années.
Sur le front de la physique, de l’interface utilisateur et de l’IA, AMS2 a reçu énormément d’améliorations et de correctifs. La liste complète des modifications est répertoriée ci-dessous, mais parmi les améliorations les plus notables figurent les révisions des effets de vue du cockpit. Ces modifications donnent au joueur plus de détails et un meilleur contrôle sur les mouvements de la caméra lors de l’accélération, du freinage et des virages.
